I first encountered such a concept as SEO-text or SEO-optimized text in the year 2009, when I first came to work as a webmaster at a local office where websites are created and promoted. In general, then, SEO seemed to me a useless thing, to be honest, I did not think at all that so many people use search engines to find information, perhaps I was judging by myself.
A little later, and listening to the conversations of our then-optimizers in the smoking room, I became terribly interested in how it was to promote the site, let me remind you that then I just made up html templates and adapted them for Joomla. The whole point of the then texts on the sites was stuffing as many keys as possible and highlighting them with the STRONG tag, as well as listing key phrases in META + buying a couple of links – you are in the TOP!
What is SEO-Optimized
It was only later, as the number of sites developed and increased and as a result of their competition in the search results, algorithms began to be introduced that analyzed the text that was on the site, and not just found the selected key on the page and gave positions.
At the moment, for me personally, such a thing as “SEO-optimized text” has lost its credibility a little. Now, when drawing up the assignment, of course, I give the keys that should be in the text, however, I put more emphasis on the so-called “humanity” of the text – it should be readable, interesting and useful.
A copywriter who writes such texts on a site must have a good command of the information so that a person who, in search of the necessary content, gets what he needs, thereby increasing behavioral factors and “attitude” to the site as a whole.
If you write a text or give an assignment for writing a text, first of all, you are guided by the interest of the user who has entered your site in search of the necessary information. Break down the entire text into logical sub-paragraphs, add media content, do different formatting of text, tables and you will be happy!
